The crew displayed amazing professionalism, the cast (despite a few
drangles) was bonded and spontaneous i and ‘we all learnt a lot of new
things’ (Memorably Melissa’s Dictum: ‘You are dumb. Listen to your
teachers.’) Unfortunately, the intensity came in only during the last
sprint. If we’d shown more commitment and enthusiasm during the
earlier stages, it might have eased the teachers’ burden more.
Nevertheless, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: The best is
yet to be – but now very good already!”
Actually, Melissa has been misquote. ‘You are dumb. Listen to your teachers’ is a product of Joshua Cao’s mangled memory. If I recall correctly, what Melissa said was ‘If you have an idea and the teachers say that it won’t work, it is not lightly to work, they know what they are talking about, so listen to your teachers’.
